Is in the car! All in an evenings work.

Some of you may have read my previous post about my T5 going south. I took the advice from those who know much more than I.

Also put in new King Cobra clutch, pressure plate, TOB, new Ford Racing shift fork, bell housing, modified the cross member, new u-joints, new drive shaft yoke, etc.

A huge THANK YOU to Loran Keller (CYAZ06).

We got the old T5 out and the new TKO in last night. Now I just need to fill the trans, mount the MGW shifter (should be here today), and hang the exhaust!

We had a few hang ups but it went smoothly for the most part thanks to Loran.

You'll be very happy with the "install it and forget it transmission"

Ryan,

My TKAO 600 trans has a pretty good vibration especially in 4th gear. It did the same thing in the '85 car it was in but I though the vib was coming from the drive shaft of rear end.

How smooth is your trans?

Wayne

I have a TKO 600 in my fox. No vibration in 4th or 5th. I had it wide open ripping down the front straight at TWS.......no issues
